You will be part of a fast-growing PE-backed business that allows high-performing employees to make an impact and contribute to growing the business. You will have the chance to channel your experience into supporting the development of our enterprise software system.

 

You will be responsible for acting as a liaison between our software development team and their internal and external clients/users and helping them to translate their business needs into software requirements. As part of the software development team, you will help to analyse, document and prepare functional specifications and user stories.

Example Responsibilities

·                Elicit, analyse, specify and validate the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users

·                Provide the link between the customer, development team and other stakeholders regarding software functionality, throughout the development life cycle

·                Work with stakeholders and project teams to prioritise collected requirements

·                Produce weekly reports for the manager showing progress against outstanding milestones, status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies

·                Develop and utilise standard templates to write requirement specifications and user stories accurately and concisely

·                Translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to the development team

·                Create process models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team

·                Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted

·                Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project life cycle; enforce and redefine, as necessary

·                Communicate changes, enhancements and modifications of business requirements — verbally or through written documentation — to project managers, sponsors and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood

 

 

 

Education, Experience, Knowledge & Other Skills

 

The following criteria outline the minimum hiring criteria for this position, unless otherwise stipulated below as “preferred,” or “a plus.”

 

·         4-6 years of experience as a business analyst and a bachelor’s/master’s degree

·         Knowledge of the pharma/healthcare domain, preferably from a product development background

·         Experience of working in an Agile environment

·         Good knowledge of software product development

·         Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it

·         Excellent written and spoken English language abilities

·         Good knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques such as UML or equivalent

·         Proven ability to engage and manage internal stakeholders at differing levels

·         Project experience in AI, ML or business intelligence will be an advantage

·         Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail

·         Highly self-motivated and directed

·         Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks while under pressure

·         Strong customer service orientation
