You will provide high quality research operations support to project teams on all Prescient projects involving primary research. As the research operations lead on assigned projects, you will support, guide and advise project leads/teams across all stages of the project, from initial receipt of the RFP to final project completion and budget reconciliation, enabling those teams to deliver high quality primary market research as effectively and efficiently as possible, whilst maintaining full compliance with all legal, industry and client specific policies, guidelines and contracts. You will also be responsible for managing the relationships with some of our key MR suppliers, including regularly soliciting feedback from project teams and using this to optimise our research.

Example Responsibilities
The following are example responsibilities of this position and are, as such, not meant to be exhaustive, nor convey every responsibility that may vary over time, without changing the essence of this position:
· Proposal Development: Support teams developing pitches/proposals for projects with a primary research component. Provide guidance on the feasibility of the primary research approach (methodology, sample, timing and any ccompliance considerations). Source quotes from suitable MR supplier(s) and complete costing templates in accordance with agreed scope using the costing principles, including where required client costing spreadsheet
· Research Set-up: Attend and actively contribute to project set up meetings. Identify and commission the most appropriate MR suppliers for projects and manage project briefing and onboarding processes. Ensure our internal team (including freelancers) and external partners have the appropriate training and certification
· Research Operations Support: In collaboration with the project team, manage all aspects of the fieldwork, including recruitment; management and co-ordination of translations, interview homework and transcriptions; set up of any central locations or external venues; all interview logistics and honoraria management
· Quality Control: Oversee quality control on all recruitment, external moderation, transcribers, and other MR suppliers
· Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify any potential challenges associated with research delivery, and where possible develop solutions to effectively manage them. Contribute to selected research operations related initiatives designed to enhance the effectiveness and/or efficiency of our primary research delivery, including reviewing best practice, designing new processes, and delivering internal team training sessions
· Compliance: Oversee and manage compliance on projects, including co-ordination of the adverse event (AE) process and compliance quality control in line with our SOPs and client specific process and policies. Ensure timely and compliant adverse event financial reconciliations upon project completion
· Internal Communication: Collaborate with members of own team and other Prescient business teams to ensure effective research delivery
· Subject Matter Expertise: Develop subject matter expertise in the assigned therapeutic area or other area. Keep abreast of any changes to the policies and guidelines issued by MR industry bodies such as BHBIA/EphMRA, including reviewing best practice, and keep the internal team updated on these
· Team Management: Provide daily management and co-ordination of the relationships with all translators, transcribers, central locations, and external moderators, including regularly soliciting feedback from project teams and using this to optimise how we work with these suppliers
· Line Management: Where assigned, hire, develop, and retain diverse talent on your team
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Other Skills
The following criteria outline the minimum hiring criteria for this position, unless otherwise stipulated below as “preferred,” or “a plus.”
- Graduate or advanced degree in life sciences, data sciences, business, or a related discipline is preferred, with 6 or more years’ relevant experience, which may include pharma consulting, pharma business intelligence, working with drug/indication databases, pharma data analytics, etc.
- A mix of industry and consulting experience is a plus
- People management (direct reports) experience is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of our business and the fundamental practices, principles, and tools used in management consulting, as evidenced by increasing independence in completing assigned work
- Sound knowledge of our clients and their needs and objectives, as evidenced by increased speed and accuracy in delivering assigned work and the ability to suggest value-added opportunities
- Strong knowledge of our competitors, our differentiators, and value proposition
- Customer & Quality Centricity: demonstrable client-centric and quality-oriented mindset and approach with a high level of attention-to-detail
· Communication: strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Understands varying cross-functional roles and responsibilities and adapts communications accordingly.
